DTC P020A: Cylinder 1 Injector Timing (Injector Input Line Circuit Error): General Description

Injectors jet out high pressure fuel calculated by PCM to each cylinders. Direct and separated injections improve fuel efficiency and engine power.

The IDB (injector driver box) controls injector operation. If the IDB receives signal for injector operation from PCM, IDB boosts the voltage and uses current by voltage difference between HIGH and LOW side of injector circuit as injector operating current.
