Repair Procedures: Removal

Disconnect a boots from the console upper cover.
Pull the knob (A) in the direction of "F" and remove the knob.

Remove the floor console assembly. (Refer to Body - "Floor Console ")
Remove the air duct (A).

Disconnect the connector (A) from the shift lever.

Disconnect the control cable (A).
1. Disconnect the cable holer (A) from the shift lever.
2. Disconnect the cable bracket from the shift lever after pushing the lock.

Remove the bolts and then shift lever assembly (A).
Tightening torque:

8.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)

Remove the P position switch mounting bracket (A).

Disconnect the P position switch (A) and shift lock solenoid (B).

Disconnect the manual mode switch housing (A).

Disconnect the main connector (A) from the shift lever.

P position switch, shift lock solenoid, manual mode switch housing, main connector assembly (A).

Remove the mounting bracket (A) of terminals from the main connector.

Remove each terminals (F) of the P position switch (A), shift lock solenoid (B), manual mode switch housing (C) after released lock (E) from the main connector (D).
CAUTION:
- Record the location of the wiring colors before disconnecting the terminals.
