Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly and air duct. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System-"Air cleaner ")
  2. Remove the Hybrid Power Control Unit (HPCU) assembly. (Refer to Hybrid control system - "HPCU ")
  3. Remove the under cover. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System-"Engine Room Under cover ")
  4. Remove the valve body assembly. (Refer to valve body system-"valve body ")
  5. Disconnect the input/output speed sensor connector (A).
  6. Remove the solenoid valve connector assembly after removing bolts (B).

  7. Disconnect the main connector (A).
    1. Press the lock
    2. Raise the lever

  8. Remove the clip (A) after removing the bolt.

  9. Disconnect the main connector (A) from the transaxle.

CAUTION:
  • Replace the O-Ring (A) before reinstalling the main connector.
