Boost Control Position Sensor Circuit Inspection

1. IG "OFF" & Disconnect EWGA connector.
2. IG "ON" & ENG "OFF".
3. Measure the voltage between signal, ground, power terminal of EWGA (Boost Control Position Sensor) harness connector and chassis ground.

   Specification: 

   Signal Terminal: Approx. 0V

   Ground Terminal: Approx. 0V

   Power Terminal: Approx. 5V

4. Is the measured voltage within specification?

YES 

• Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.

NO 

• Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
