Component Inspection: Notes

Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF" and Using a scan tool, clear the DTC.
Ignition "OFF".
Disconnect the battery (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least one minutes.
Disconnect Bodysensor Mat connector.
Substitute the Bodysensor Mat and check for proper operation.
Is DTC present problem?
YES
- Substitute a known-good Bodysensor OCU (ECU), and check for proper operation.
  If the problem is corrected, replace Bodysensor OCU (ECU) and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure and go to "BODY SENSOR RESET " procedure.
NO
- Substitute a known-good Bodysensor Mat, and check for proper operation.
  If the problem is corrected, replace Bodysensor Mat and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
