DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality check
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short in signal circuit
  3. S2
Enable Conditions
  • Dew point end detected
  • Battery voltage is higher than 11V
  • Exhaust Gas temperature is between 662°F and 1472° F.
Case1 Threshold Value
  • Sensor voltage is between 0.4V and 0.52V
Diagnostic Time
  • 600 sec.
Case2 Threshold Value
  • Rate of heater pulse coupling to sensor signal is higher than 5 times per every 10 heating pulses
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
* S1: upstream oxygen sensor/S2: downstream oxygen sensor
