Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Installation is the reverse of removal.
  2. Tighten the HECU mounting bolts and nuts to the specified torque.
  3. After installation, bleed the brake system.

    (Refer to BRAKE SYSTEM .)

    NOTE: In a case of replacing ESC HECU, operate following functions.
    1. "Steering Angle Sensor Calibration" for steering angle sensor offset correction.

      (Refer to MDPS ASSEMBLY .)

    2. "Longitudinal G Sensor Calibration" for Longitudinal sensor offset correction.

      (Refer to Yaw-Rate And Lateral G Sensor .)
