Repair Procedures: Replacement
- Stop the engine and uplift the vehicle with lift.
- Remove the nuder cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
- Drain the Manual Transaxle Oil after loosening the drain plug (A) and then install the drain plug with new gasket.
Tightening Torque:
58.9 - 78.5 N.m (6.0 - 8.0 kgf.m, 43.4 - 57.8 lb-ft)
- Loosen the oil filler plug (A).
- Add new oil through the filler plug hole.
Standard Oil:
API Service GL-4, SAE 70W
Recommend Oil:
(SHELL: SPIRAX S6 GHME 70W, SK: HK MTF 70W, GS CALTEX: GS MTF HD 70W)
Oil Capacity:
1.6 - 1.7 L (0.42 - 0.44 U.S.gal., 1.69 - 1.80 U.S. qt., 1.40 - 1.50 lmp qt.)
- Install the filler plug with new gasket.
Tightening Torque:
58.9 - 78.5 N.m (6.0 - 8.0 kgf.m, 43.4 - 57.8 lb-ft)
- Install the under cover.
