DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Variant monitoring
  1. Replacement of PCM (ECM & TCM)
  2. Faulty HECU
Enable Conditions
  • Normal battery voltage
  • Ignition switch is "ON".
Threshold Value
  • Engine displacement/engine type/gear information got from CAN messages are different from the values saved by EEPROM after ignition switch is turned 'ON'.
MIL
  • The EBD/ABS/ESP (ESC) warning lamp are activated.
Reset condition
  • The warning lamps and DTC are cleared if Variant coding is set.
