Repair Procedures: Removal

- Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work.
- Remove the driver airbag module by putting in a flat tool (Ø5 mm) into the guide hole and then press the fixed wire.
- Disconnect the horn connector (B).
- Release the connector locking pin, then disconnect the driver airbag module connector (A).
CAUTION: The removed airbag module should be stored in a clean, dry place with the pad cover facing up.
- Remove the steering wheel and steering wheel column shroud (A).

- Disconnect the clock spring (A) and horn connector (B), then remove the clock spring.
