Component Inspection

  1. Using the GDS, clear the fault code saved.
  2. Turn LKAS off and then on.
  3. Using the GDS, monitor the DTC to see if the fault code is generated again.
  4. Is the fault code regenerated?

    YES 

    • Mount LKAS properly, perform calibration, and then perform the "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

      * If LKAS has been replaced, perform calibration.

    NO 

    • This may be a temporary fault that is caused by the previous fault not cleared from the memory of LKAS.
    • Go to next procedure.
