Tailgate Open Switch

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the tailgate trim.

    (Refer to LIFTGATE TRIM )

  3. Remove the tailgate garnish (A) after loosening the mounting nuts.

  4. Disconnect the tailgate switch connector (A).

  5. Remove the tailgate switch assembly (A).

  6. Remove the tailgate switch (A) after loosening the screw.
