DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Electrical check
  1. Open in signal harness
  2. Open in ground harness
  3. Poor connection or damaged harness
  4. Faulty Heated O2 Sensor (HO2S)
Prerequisite Condition
  • O2 Sensor operative readiness is detected.
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Downstream O2 Sensor element resistance is higher than 24kΩ
  • Sensor signal circuit is open.
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously (for 2.5 Seconds by repeated 100 msec.)
MIL On Condition
  • 3rd Driving Cycle
