Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Electrical Check
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Open or Short to Ground in Signal Circuit
  3. Faulty APS
Prerequisite Condition
  • Ignition switch is turned 'ON'.
Threshold Value
  • APS1 output voltage is lower than 0.23V.
  • Sensor signal circuit is open or shorted to ground.
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously (for 0.3 seconds by repeated 10 msec.)
MIL On Condition
  • 2nd Driving Cycle
