Monitor DTC Status

1. Plug GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
3. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)," and click "DTC Status" to check DTC information.
4. Read the "DTC State" parameter.
5. Record all DTCs, DTC state and freeze frame data before clearing them. Is the DTC State "Present?"

YES 

• Go to next procedure.

NO 

• This can be an intermittent fault caused by poor contact of the sensor's and/or ECM (PCM)'s connector. Or, ECM (PCM) memory was not cleared after repair. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace the relevant component(s) as necessary, and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
