Mood Lamp Module: Function

The mood lamp control system consists of a MLM* and mood lamp controllers. The MLM* judges and controls the operation of the mood lamp by sending/receiving mood lamp control-related signals via CAN communication. And, the MLM* controls the mood lamp controller via LIN communication.

  1. USM* Information: Mood lamp ON/OFF, color and brightness

→ A separate USM* setting is required to control the brightness of the mood lamp. This is different from the rheostat adjustment that controls the interior lights.

  2. Vehicle Information: Mood lamp's ON/OFF timing and B+, ACC, IG1, IG2
  3. Control of the slave controller: Mood lamp ON/OFF, color and brightness
