DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range check
  1. Open in power supply harness or signal harness
  2. Short to ground in power supply or signal harness
  3. Poor connection or damaged harness
  4. Faulty TPS2
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage between 11V and 16V.
Threshold Value
  • TPS 2 sensor signal is lower than 0.1V.
  • TPS 2 sensor signal is lower than 2.0V at engine idle.
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • Immediately
