DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor HO2S's signal
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. Front HO2S
Enable Conditions
  • Not in the fuel cut mode
  • Catalyst protection function is not working
  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V
Threshold value
  • Active test symptom during shift of lambda setpoint to rich or lean (after P2096/P2097 detection)
Diagnosis Time
  • 10 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
