Parking Distance Warning Sensor

PARKING DISTANCE WARNING SENSOR 

Parking Distance Warning Sensor* detects obstacles in front and rear of the vehicle and sends first phase, second phase, third phase warning signals that differ by distance of obstacles to BCM* via LIN communication.

BCM* monitors signals from the sensor and determines warning phase and activates buzzer or sends data to cluster to display to warn driver. Warning methods are different by vehicle options.
