DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Voltage range check
  1. Short to ground in signal harness
  2. Poor connection or damaged harness
  3. Faulty IAT sensor
Prerequisite Condition
  • Battery voltage is between 6V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • IAT sensor voltage is lower than 0.1135V (130°C/266°F)
  • Sensor signal circuit is shorted to ground
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously (for 5 seconds by repeated 100 msec)
MIL On Condition
  • 3rd Driving Cycle
