- Ambient air temperature (AAT) is higher than or equals to -30°C (-22°F)
- Engine coolant temperature (ECT) is higher than or equals to -30°C (-22°F).
- Battery voltage is between 6V and 16V.

- IAT sensor voltage is higher than 4.93V (-40°C/104°F)
- Sensor signal circuit is open or shorted to battery power supply line.
