Repair Procedures: Replacement
- Turn OFF ignition switch and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly and air duct. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Remove the battery and battery tray. (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "BATTERY ")
- Remove the engine control module (ECM). (Refer to Engine Control System - "ECM ")
- Disconnect the neutral switch connector (A).
- Remove the neutral switch (A).
- Replace the new neutral switch.
Tightening torque:
39.2 - 58.8 N.m (4.0 - 6.0 kgf.m, 28.9 - 43.4 lb-ft)
