Ambient Air Temperature Sensor (AATS) is negative characteristic thermistor and it senses air temperature inhaled to engine.

The intake air temperature sensor of Turbo GDI is mounted before and after turbo charger in order to measure more accurately the mass of intake air flow. ECM performs revision control of fuel by intake air temperature.
