Repair Procedures: Inspection
- Turn OFF ignition switch and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly and air duct.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the battery and battery tray.
(Refer to Engine Electrical System - "BATTERY and BATTERY TRAY ")
- Disconnect the neutral switch connector (A).
- Check the continuity between no. 1 and 2 terminals of neutral switch.
When the shift lever is in neutral, there should be continuity.
- Replace the neutral switch when there is not continuity from the neutral position.
