Stiffener Assembly: Removal
CAUTION:
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
- When removing using a remover, be careful not to damage the parts.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Disconnect the 12V battery (-) terminal.
(Refer to Vehicle Control System - " AUXILIARY BATTERY (12V) ")
- Remove the front bumper assembly.
(Refer to Front & Rear Bumper - "FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the stiffener assembly (A), after removing the bolts.
Tightening torque:
7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb-ft)
