Bank 1/Exhaust

  1. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal.
  2. Remove the air cleaner.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER REPAIR PROCEDURES ")

  3. Remove the battery.

    (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "BATTERY ")

  4. Disconnect the vacuum hoses (A).

  5. Remove the camshaft position sensor bracket (A) after loosening the mounting bolt.

  6. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector (A).
  7. Remove the camshaft position sensor (B) after loosening the mounting bolt.
