Repair Procedures: Installation
- Check that the shift lever is placed in the "N" position.
- Install the position switch (A) and then lightly tighten the position switch mounting bolts.
- Align the hole in the manual control lever (A) with the "N" position hole (B) of the position switch and then lightly tighten nut (D) and washer (C).
- Insert the position switch neutral fixed pin (SST No..: 09480-A3800) (A) for "N" position hole.
- Tighten the position switch mounting bolts (A) and manual lever mounting nut (B) with the specified torque.
Tightening torque:
- 9.8 - 11.7 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.6 lb-ft)
- 17.6 - 24.5 N.m (1.8 - 2.5 kgf.m, 13.0 - 18.0 lb-ft)
- Push shift cable (B) lightly to "F" direction shown to eliminate free play of shift cable.
Tighten the nut (A) with the specified torque.
- Remove the position switch neutral fixed pin (SST No.: 09480-A3800) (A) from the hole.
- Connect the position switch connector (A).
- Install the battery and tray.

- Install the ECM.

- Install the air cleaner assembly and air duct.

CAUTION:- Check that operating surely at each range of the position switch corresponding to each position of shift lever.
