Repair Procedures: Removal
- Prior to replacing the AWD ECU, check the AWD ECU's clutch learing with the diagnostic tool.
(Refer to AWD Control System - "Repair Procedures ")
- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the left side luggage side trim.
(Refer to Body - "Luggage Side Trim ")
- Disconnect the AWD ECU connector (A).
- Loosen the mounting nuts and then removing the AWD ECU (A).
Tightening torque:
9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)
