Repair Procedures: Removal

Disconnect the battery (-) terminal.
Remove the air cleaner.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector (A).

Lift the vehicle.
Remove the engine room under cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
Remove the intercooler inlet pipe.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "INTERCOOLER ")
Separate the EWP, after loosening the mounting bolts (A).
Tightening Torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)

Remove the protector (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.
Tightening Torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)

Remove the crankshaft position sensor (B) after loosening the mounting bolt (A).
Tightening Torque:

9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)
