Repair Procedures: Removal
- Disconnect the battery (-) terminal.
- Remove the air cleaner.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Remove the PCSV.
(Refer to Engine Control/Fuel System - "PURGE CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE (PCSV) ")
- Remove the high pressure fuel pipe.
(Refer to Engine Control/Fuel System - "HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PIPE ")
- Disconnect the variable charge motion actuator connector (A).
- Remove the variable charge motion actuator mounting bolts (A).
- move variable charge motion actuator rod mounting nut (B).
