FCA (SCC) System
- SCC (Smart Cruise Control): Smart Cruise Control System controls acceleration/deceleration to keep a safe distance from the preceding vehicle, which shows the best contemporary technical standard of self-driving vehicle. If there is no preceding vehicle, the system keeps the vehicle to maintain a steady speed. However, when the vehicle detects preceding vehicle, it will calculate the distance and speed from the preceding vehicle to reset and control the safe distance. Therefore, if the preceding vehicle stops, the vehicle stops automatically as well.
- Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist: Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist detects collision risk with the preceding vehicle and warn it to the driver. Not only collision warning, FCA can control driving and steering.
