Engine Control System - 1.6: Injector: Removal
WARNING:
- Since there is a risk of injury due to high pressure fuel leakage, do not perform any work right after the engine is stopped.
- Release the residual pressure in fuel line.
(Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "RELEASE RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN FUEL LINE ")
CAUTION:- When removing the fuel pump relay, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may occur. Delete the code with the diagnostic tool after completion of "Release Residual Pressure in Fuel Line" work.
- Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
- Remove the injector from the delivery pipe.
