Diagnosis With Diagnostic Tool

  1. In the body electrical system, failure can be quickly diagnosed by using the vehicle diagnostic tool. (Refer to DTC INDEX )
    • Each vehicle may have different diagnosis result.
      1. Self diagnosis: Checking failure and Diagnosis Trouble Code (DTC).
      2. Current data: Checking the system input/output data state.
      3. Actuation test: Checking the system operating condition.
      4. Software Management: Controlling other features including system option setting and Zero-Adjustment.
  2. If diagnose the vehicle by diagnostic tool, select "DTC Analysis" and "Vehicle".
    NOTE:
    • Vehicle should be at "ACC ON" to properly operate diagnostic tool. (To prevent system errors)
    • Be careful of the discharge of the battery when operating the diagnostic tool.
  3. Select the system that requires inspection from the "DTC Analysis" menu.

    Information 

    • Follow the instruction from the diagnostic tool for additional procedure.

  4. Select desired system from "Data Analysis" to check the current status of input and output data.
    • It allows to check the input and output value of the selected module.
