Transaxle Control Module (TCM): Removal

  1. Perform the oil pressure characteristics backup procedure using the diagnostic tool when replacing with a new TCM

  2. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal.
  3. Remove the front wheel guard [LH]

    (Refer to Body (Interior/Exterior/Electrical) - "WHEEL GUARD ")

  4. Disconnect the TCM connector (A).

  5. Removing the TCM (A) after removing the nuts.

    Tightening torque: 

    9.8 - 11.8 N.m (1.0 - 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 - 8.7 lb-ft)
