Idle Switch

  1. Warm engine to normal operating temperature. Ensure fast idle cam lever is released. Disconnect idle switch harness connector.
  2. Connect ohmmeter leads to idle switch terminals "A" and "B". See Figure . With throttle valve fully closed, continuity should exist. With throttle valve in open position, continuity should not exist.
