Start (Ignition Switch) Signal Test

Backprobe ECU terminal No. 43 with positive lead of DVOM. Connect negative lead to a good ground. With ignition switch in START position, battery voltage should be present at ECU terminal. If battery voltage is not present, check for open in wire between ignition switch and ECU.
