Start (Ignition Switch) Signal

Backprobe ECU terminal No. 43 with positive lead of DVOM. Connect negative lead to chassis ground. Turn ignition switch to START position, battery voltage should exist at ECU terminal. If battery voltage does not exist, check for open in wire between ignition switch and ECU. If wire is okay, replace ignition switch.
