BELT ADJUSTMENT - V8

Application (1) New Belt Deflection (1) Used Belt Deflection
Alternator .30-.33" (7.5-8.5 mm) .35-.39" (9-10 mm)
A/C Compressor .30-.33" (7.5-8.5 mm) .35-.39" (9-10 mm)
Power Steering
With HICAS (2) .22-.26" (5.5-6.5 mm) .28-.31" (7-8 mm)
Without HICAS (2) .31-.35" (8-9 mm) .35-.39" (9-10 mm)
(1) With 22 lbs. (10 kg) pressure applied at center of longest belt run.
(2) Or Full Active Suspension.
