Throttle Motor
- Before touching secondary throttle valve, ensure throttle valve motor connector is disconnected. Injury may occur due to accidental actuation of valve.
- Using an analog voltmeter, check voltage produced by motor when secondary throttle valve is quickly opened and closed. See Fig 1 . Voltmeter needle should fluctuate. Ensure throttle valve moves smoothly from fully closed to fully open position without binding.
