Starter Solenoid Test

Disconnect battery ground cable. Disconnect "M" terminal of starter. Check for continuity between "S" terminal and solenoid body. See Fig 1. If continuity is not present, replace solenoid. Check for continuity between terminals "S" and "M". If continuity is not present, replace solenoid.
