Console Switches
- Unplug connector from right front and right rear console switches. With right front switch in UP position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 1 and 3, and between terminals No. 2 and 6. See Fig 1. Continuity should not exist with switch released.
- With right front switch in DOWN position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 1 and 2, and between terminals No. 3 and 6.
- With right front switch in neutral position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 2, 3, and 6. Replace switch if continuity is not as specified.
- With right rear switch in UP position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 1 and 5, and between terminals No. 4 and 6. Continuity should not exist with switch pressed.
- With right rear switch in DOWN position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 1 and 4, and between terminals No. 5 and 6. Continuity should not exist with switch released.
- With right rear switch in neutral position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 4, 5, and 6. Replace switch if continuity is not as specified.
- Unplug connector from left rear console switch. With left rear switch in UP position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 1 and 3, and between terminals No. 2 and 4. See Fig 2. Continuity should not exist with switch released.
- With left rear switch in DOWN position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 1 and 2, and between terminals No. 3 and 4. Continuity should not exist with switch released.
- With left rear switch in neutral position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 2, 3, and 4. Replace switch if continuity is not as specified.
