Diagnostic Procedure 1

  1. Remove battery from remote control unit. Measure voltage across battery terminals. If voltage is at least 3 volts, go to next step. If voltage is not at least 3 volts, replace battery and retest system.
  2. Press door lock button on controller before reinstalling battery. Reinstall battery. If buzzer sounds, retest system. If buzzer does not sound, replace controller.
