Bleeding TCS System
- Loosen TCS actuator bleeder. Remove cap and fill reservoir tank to MAX with new DOT 3 brake fluid. Do not reinstall cap at this time.
- Start engine, activating TCS pump. Tighten bleeder to slightly less than 9 ft. lbs. (12 N.m). Approximately 3-5 seconds after bleeder is tightened, TCS pump should stop. Turn engine off. See Fig 1.
- Start engine again and loosen bleeder. Watch fluid in reservoir tank. Repeat bleeding procedure until fluid returning to reservoir tank does not contain air bubbles. Tighten bleeder to 9-12 ft. lbs. (12-16 N.m).
