Starter Solenoid Test

Disconnect battery ground cable. Disconnect "M" terminal of starter. Check for continuity between "S" terminal and solenoid body. See Fig 1 . If continuity is not present, replace solenoid. Check for continuity between terminals "S" and "M". If continuity is not present, replace solenoid.
