Intermittent Wiper Volume Input Signal Check

Check resistance between BCM terminals No. 27 and 29 while turning intermittent wiper volume. See Figure. With knob at "S", resistance should be zero. With knob at "L", resistance should be about one k/ohm. If resistance values are correct, replace BCM. If resistance values are not correct, check intermittent wiper volume control. Replace volume control if no good. If intermittent wiper volume control is okay, check harness continuity between BCM and control (terminals No. 19 and 20). See Figure. If continuity is present, replace BCM. If continuity is not present, repair harness.
