Throttle Position (TP) Sensor
- Ensure engine is warmed to normal operating temperature. Disconnect throttle position sensor wiring harness connector. Refer to Fig 1
. Check resistance between specified connector terminals.
- If continuity is not correct, slightly loosen TP sensor mounting bolts. Rotate sensor body until resistance is correct. Tighten mounting bolts, and recheck resistance reading. If resistance is not as specified, replace TP sensor.
