No Remote Control Functions

Check battery of remote control. Replace if necessary. If battery is okay, substitute known-good remote control. Enter ID code of substituted remote control. See PROGRAMMING REMOTE CONTROL . Recheck system operation. If system operates properly, replace remote control. If system is still inoperative, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE 2  under DIAGNOSTIC CHARTS .
