LAN Communication Check

  1. This mode checks for proper communication function between BCM and each LCU in the LAN system. To perform LAN communication check, enter LAN system diagnostics. See ENTERING LAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSTICS (above).
  2. Select LAN-COMM CHECK from the SELECT TEST ITEM menu on CONSULT. See LAN COMMUNICATION DIAGNOSTICS chart under DIAGNOSTIC CHARTS. See Figure . Select LAN COMM DIAGNOSIS from the LAN-COMM CHECK menu. Record any LAN system-related fault messages and repair appropriate circuit. See Figure . Erase fault message(s) from system memory.
