Diagnostic Procedure 7

  1. Unplug 12-pin connector from control unit. Control unit is located in trunk, on right side. Connect jumper wire between connector terminal No. 15 and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If hazard lights do not flash, go to next step. If hazard lights flash, replace control unit.
  2. Unplug remote control relay No. 1. Relay is located in trunk, on right side.
  3. Check for continuity between control unit connector terminal No. 15 and relay connector terminal No. 15. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If continuity exists, check relay and associated wiring. If continuity does not exist, repair wire between specified connector terminals.
