Sleep/Wake-Up Control Mode

Sleep control mode prevents unnecessary power consumption. About 30 seconds after ignition switch is off, all electrical loads are off and timers are off, the Body Control Module (BCM) suspends communications to all Local Control Units (LCUs). When BCM detects a wake-up signal, sleep mode for all LCUs is cancelled, and BCM will return to normal control mode. A wake-up signal is created when any of the following switches are turned on.

• Key Switch (Key Inserted)
• Ignition Switch (ACC Or ON Positions)
• Headlight Switch (First Detent)
• Door Switches (All)
• Trunk Lid Unlock Switch
• Trunk Compartment Light Switch
• Engine Hood Switch
• Multi-Remote Controller
• Door Unlock Sensors (All)
